The School Planning Council
The role of the SPC

School Planning Councils are required of every school in BC. The SPC develops a plan for improving student achievement and fulfilling the School Board's accountability contract for the school. The SPC provides input to the Board regarding the allocation of staff and resources at the school, the educational services and programs at the school, and all matters relative to the Board's accountability contract.

For more detailed information, refer to the BC Ministry of Education link: School Planning Councils
